What are your hours?
We’re open Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday and Friday from 8:00 AM to 6:00 PM. On Thursdays, we’re open 8:00 AM to 6:00 PM for administrative work only, with no appointments. We’re closed Saturday and Sunday.
What type of pets do you see?

How do I make an appointment, and are you accepting new patients?

Yes, we welcome new patients. You can book an appointment online at any time or call us at (407) 275-3430 during business hours. You can also meet our veterinary team before your first visit.

What should I bring to my pet’s first visit?
Bring your pet’s previous medical and vaccine records, a list of current medications, food and supplements, and any questions you have. A fresh stool sample is helpful for parasite screening. Dogs should be on a leash and cats should be in a secure carrier.

Cost and Payment

What forms of payment do you accept?
We accept cash and credit or debit cards, along with CareCredit and payment plans through Varidi to help spread out the cost of care. If you have pet insurance, we’re happy to provide itemized invoices and medical records for your claim.
Do you offer wellness plans?

Yes. Our Snout Wellness Plans bundle routine preventive care, such as exams and vaccines, into affordable monthly payments. Ask our front desk which plan is the best fit for your pet. Our Wellness Plan page lists what each plan includes.

Emergencies

What should I do if my pet has an emergency?

During business hours, call us right away at (407) 275-3430. If we can’t see your pet quickly enough, or it’s after hours, contact Veterinary Emergency Clinic of Central Florida at (407) 644-4449. We’re a daytime hospital and aren’t open 24 hours.

Pet Health and Prescriptions

How often should my pet see the vet?

Healthy adult dogs and cats need a wellness exam at least once a year. Senior pets (generally age 7 and older) and pets with chronic conditions should be seen every six months. Learn more about pet wellness care.

Which vaccines does my pet need?
Core vaccines for dogs include rabies, distemper/parvovirus and leptospirosis, and core vaccines for cats include rabies and FVRCP. Florida law requires rabies vaccination for dogs and cats four months of age or older. We’ll recommend lifestyle vaccines, such as Bordetella, based on your pet’s risk.
Does my pet need heartworm and flea prevention year-round in Florida?
Yes. Mosquitoes, fleas and ticks are active almost all year in Central Florida, so year-round prevention is the safest choice for both dogs and cats, including indoor cats.
How do I refill my pet’s medication?

You can order refills, prescription diets and preventives through our online pharmacy with home delivery, or call us at (407) 275-3430. Please allow 48 hours for in-clinic refill requests.
